Terms and Conditions
RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATIONS
Rates are per night or week. Maine 9% Lodging tax and/or 5.5% sales tax is included in rate.
A non refundable 50% deposit is required at booking. Balance is due 14 days prior to arrival unless specifically agreed upon in writing. No refunds after 14 days. We reserve the right to charge the balance due after the 14 day period.
No refunds for shortened stays. Weekly discounts are calculated at time of booking and will not adjusted for add-on days.
No Pet fee – no more than 2 pets per cabin/site. Proof of current vaccinations required. There is no poop fairy so please clean up after your dog and cover furniture.
Check-in time is 12:00 PM. Check-out time is 12:00 PM.
Early check-in or late check-out may be available. Please speak to us directly about such requests prior to arrival. Failure to notify us shall incur up to a full night cabin rate.
Quiet time is 10pm-7am.
We reserve the right to change cabin in the event of an emergency or scheduling conflict for an equal or upgraded cabin.
REGISTRATIONS AND LICENSES
Boats must be registered and contain Maine Milfoil sticker.
ATVs and Snowmobiles must be registered in the State of Maine.
Please make sure you have all required licenses for fishing and hunting.
NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD IS PERMITTED
Firewood is provided at no cost.
MAINE GUIDE PACKAGES
Our Guides book early, if you would like to arrange a guide trip, please contact us as soon as possible and we will have our lead guide contact you to plan your guided trip. Please be aware that all REGISTERED MAINE GUIDES ARE PAID IN CASH OR CHECK
Inconsideration of participating in this sport of hunting and for other good and valuable consideration, I hereby agree to release and discharge from liability arising from negligence, Merchant Camps and Lodge and its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, participants, and all other persons or entities acting for them (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Releasees”),on behalf of myself and my children, parents, heirs, assigns, personal representative and estate.
LIABILITY WAIVER AND HOLD HARMLESS
In consideration for myself, and all persons entering under MY SUPERVISION, being permitted to camp and participate in the activities at Merchant Camps and Lodge, I and all persons listed below, agree to the following Waiver and Release: I hereby KNOWINGLY AND INTENTIONALLY WAIVE AND RELEASE, IDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS, Merchant Camps and Lodge, all officers and employees of all liability for injuries caused by, but NOT LIMITED TO, the following activities: HUNTING, CAMPFIRES, HIKING, FISHING, SWIMMING, SHOWERS, BOATING, ENCOUNTERS WITH WILDLIFE. I acknowledge that camping has many hazards and that there are risks that cannot be eliminated, particularly in a wilderness environment. I hereby acknowledge that Merchant Camps and Lodge is not responsible for any theft, loss or damage incurred during my stay. My signature below confirms that I have read and agree to abide by all rules and policies at Merchant Camps and Lodge. I also understand that I can be asked to leave the property, without refund, for failure to follow said rules and policies. A copy of which, is posted at Merchant Camps and Lodge. I hereby consent to photographs and videos taken of me and all parties listed below during our stay at Merchant Camps and Lodge for purposes of event documentation and promotion of Merchant Camps and Lodge. Names will not be published. My signature confirms that I have a valid rabies certificates for any pets in my party.

PRIVACY POLICY
Visitors to the MerchantCamps.com website are important to us. MerchantCamps.com does not record personal information about you without your permission. MerchantCamps.com collects only the information needed to create an efficient electronic gateway for public information.
